![]() ![]() So I guess if you can give me a little more specific list of your exact issues, I'll do my best. Hopefully that isn't where your texture issues are. Obviously, if there are texture issues with the Mindstar G1000, I couldn't really help you there since I don't have that. If you wanted to give me a list of the gauges and switches that were not directly compatible, I could see what I could do to replace them with FS9 compatible ones, and then make any adjustments to the textures to match. I don't have FS9 so I'm not even sure what conflicts there are. Crashdriver, I have to be honest that I'm not exactly sure what it would take. I can write the panel.cfg file I really just need the textures (and maybe some of the panel light switches/knobs.) if you can't just rename the files for FS9. And unfortunately FSX uses different file extentions than FS9 does so it's not plug and play. I attempted to do this myself with the Mindstar G1000 and the FS9 version, but since the panel is just slightly different and I don't have the artistic talent to draw my own background and placards for the switches and stuff I was unable to complete it. How hard would it be to convert this to FS9? Here are a couple pics of what it looks like: wfd1063 jxeboy. With all that said, let me know your thoughts. I will try to revise them but I wouldn't be able to promise any updated ones for a few weeks. The panel night textures are less than perfect. There is a chance I screwed something up and it way require a fix or 2. In other words, I would offer this up as a 'beta' version. ![]() I only mention this because I have had to go back and try to 'rebuilt' this with default gauges so there is a chance I have forgot to do something correctly. ![]() I only used the default G1000 for a few months since I was flying a NAVIII 172 with the GFC700 autopilot and decided to purchase an aftermarket G1000 with Flight Level Change like what I was flying (the default uses an older G1000 with the KAP140). This in no way compares to the outstanding work that you would expect from a Flight 1 product. I made these modifications years ago and am NOT a professional repainter or programer. Well, after receiving a couple of emails from forum members regarding this configuration, I decided I would try to upload it to the Flight 1 File Library (if there is interest) but with some stipulations: 1. The Carenado line of aircraft has been well acclaimed by users and reviewers for many years. ![]() Carenado - C172SP Skyhawk G1000 (FSX/P3D). ![]()
